It’s time for another girl talk.
First and foremost on the table... drama. You hate to be in it but you love to hear about it. I’ve been in enough drama for me to know that it’s useless. When you’re arguing or get a case of “twitter fingers” honestly ask yourself “Is this paying my phone bill?” “Is this contributing to my life’s happiness?” ”Did this make me prettier?” If not then why are you doing it? In a year you will struggle to figure out why you were even in drama to begin with, so trust me save yourself the breath and not argue.
Love. Is it worth looking for in high school? I'm not sure. But I do know that you should follow your heart. I've had my ”talking-ships” in high school and tbh they were okay but they ended because I let people who I considerED my ”friends” decided to stick their noses in my business a little too far. I take ownership for it mostly because I put myself in those predicaments not only once but twice. I think you should just follow your heart and not listen to even your friends because misery loves compnay. And if it doesn't work out then at least you know that it's because of you or the other person and not because Sally and Sue didn't want you to be the friend with the boyfriend.
rushing love.
I think I've said before that I've never ever been in a relationship (two-minute ones don't count) but I dot think it good to rush love. Mmh I've tried to a little and it never works out right honestly.
Motivation.
Where I live we have 36 days of school left and less for me. If you count down from that day it'll go by fast. If you're positive every day then the days will go by even faster.
Comparing yourself. You really just have to be okay with who you are and where you are in your life. There's so much I want to do and be at the same time. I wanna go here and do this and have this and buy this. Sometimes I just have to sit in my truth and think about how in going to do all those things and map out how. Also comparing yourself to others is never okay you never know what obstacles they had to overcome to be who they are.
Best Wishes, Ashley Marie
